Changes to AlertNet member terms and conditions
We've made some modifications to the terms and conditions applying to AlertNet membership.

What do the changes mean for you?

The key change affecting current members concerns the termination and modification of membership.

We've now added in the following clause:

"We may suspend your organisation's membership if we become aware of allegations of malpractice or illegality that could bring the wider aid community into disrepute. Membership may be terminated with immediate effect in the event that any such allegations are confirmed and/or proven."

We have also made changes relating to new members wishing to join AlertNet in the future.

All new members are now asked to provide two sound references from existing AlertNet member organisations.

Existing members must be aware that when they provide a reference for a new organisation, they are vouching that the organisation is of good repute, and should be eligible to receive money from AIDfund.
